Balboa Park is located just minutes from downtown San Diego. Admittance is free to the Park grounds, Botanical Building, outdoor gardens, and some attractions. Admission charges vary at the other cultural attractions; view prices by visiting the individual websites for the attractions of choice.

If you're bringing the kids, be sure to bring a printed copy of the Balboa Park Family Activity Guide, which includes information about kid-friendly attractions and fun activities for the kids to do during their visit. Free copies of the guide are also available at the Balboa Park Visitors Center.

The Passport to Balboa Park offers visitors the chance to experience 14 museums with the convenience of a one-time purchase. Choose the seven-day Passport or the Zoo/Passport Combo to embark on your Balboa Park adventure!

If you’re on a tight schedule, try our Stay-for-the-Day pass! Our $35 one-day pass is good for admission to your choice of any 5 of the 14 participating attractions (Zoo not included).
